I loooove boots, but I'd have to say I'm in the middle. If they look too cheap, I don't like them but putting all of my money into one pair of boots spoils the fun! :) Thanks so much for leaving a comment about my series - great to "meet" another Pacific NW blogger! :)
Completely see what you are saying. I think that may be closer to where I'm at, too. Over here it is easy to add rain and snow boots to the must-have boot list, isn't it? Hope you are enjoying the area!
I'm a total boot addict, and while I do buy cheap ones from time to time, I confess to thinking of those as "trial" boots, or even throw-aways, if say I'm coveting something kind of trendy but I don't think it will have any lasting power. Otherwise I always try to go for something quality. Last thing I want is for my favorite boots to fall apart on me! That of course doesn't mean that I have to spend $400 on every pair, but a solid pair of Fryes will beat out a cheap imitation anytime, and then you have them for a decade, minimum! Thanks for stopping by and commenting,

Precisely. There is that place where quality and budget meet. And if you can find a fab pair in there, go for it!
