Textured Blazers

Ocelot-jacquard satin-twill blazer by Alexander McQueen

Blazers come in all lengths, colors, and patterns.  Stripes, polka dots, prints- you name it, it's covering a blazer.  Texture, however, is too often overlooked.  That's too bad considering texture serves a more important purpose as the base upon which any superficial(in the most clinical sense of the word) aspect of a jacket depends on.

When looking for new items, remind yourself to pay attention to the texture of the material.  This (sometimes) subtle factor affects the overall visual quality of the garment.  It can make or break the line between cheap and expensive.

Textured fabrics are a great way to add some fun to an outfit.  As the blazer stands as the go-to for many of us, why not invest in a few of differing features to play around with?

Let's look at different textures in varying price points to find an option for any message -
